Rifle

General Information

Requires a high-power rifle; shot at ACADEMI in Moyock, NC. Competitions include National Match Course (200, 300 & 600 yd / three position), Long Range (1000 yd), Sniper (300 & 600 yd) and Garand (200 yd) Matches all shot under NRA and CMP rules and on Silver Mountain Target system.

Pre-registration via Practiscore is mandatory for both participants and spectators for every match due to ACADEMI security protocols. The deadline to sign up is by 1800 (6PM) of the Tuesday prior to each requested match so all wishing to attend will be on that event’s roster. If a non-citizen, please email the Rifle program for more details.

We’ll need to make sure you have signed NCRR and ACADEMI waivers on file for the calendar year. They’ll also be on-site at the range during check-in.

  • Create or log into your Practiscore account.
  • Search for and Follow NCRR High Power to make it one of your clubs on your Dashboard.
  • Register for the upcoming match by selecting the one you’d like to enter or watch under the NCRR High Power club link. Spectators attend for free!

A home email address is also preferable to a work email address in case a match cancellation has to be mass-emailed after working hours.
