NCRR offers the following programs on a regular routine basis. Some of these events are offered to our members as well as the public. Please see the Program page to learn more. :
Our Junior Program teaches International 3 position smallbore (.22), air rifle, and air pistol for teenage girls and boys. The Junior Program is open to all athletes between the ages of 12 and 19. Practices are during the school year, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Mondays. A junior may participate for as little as $10 per season. Read more here.
The Dixie Wheel Gunners & Basic IDPA matches are geared toward the novice and intermediate shooter. We are revolver friendly. You will need a holster and extra magazines or speed loaders are required. This discipline follows IDPA rules and is a transition to IDPA. Read more here.
Rimfire pistol is .22 caliber, a good introduction to competitive shooting using reactive and paper targets. Rimfire pistol is held the 2nd Wednesday of each month.
Rimfire rifle is also .22 caliber, held on the 4th Wednesday of each month. Parents and children over 12 may participate. See our Rimfire program page for more information.
