High Power Rifle Match @ Academi range complex in Moyock, NC
Jul 25 @ 7:00 am – 5:00 pm

This match will all be shot at 200 yards to introduce the new electronic target system.  Standard NRA rules will be used.

There will be 3 classes of rifles:

  1. Service rifle (AR-15, M1A, M1 as per NRA rules)
  2. Match rifle (iron sights only and must use a sling, no bipods or bags to rest)
  3. Unlimited rifle (any rifle, any sights, and can be rested via bipod or bags)

58 total shots including 8 sighter shots (2 for each stage) as follows:

  • Standing slow fire 10 shots for record
  • Rapid fire sitting firing 10 shots in 60 seconds
  • Rapid fire prone firing 10 shots in 70 seconds
  • Slow fire prone firing 20 shots.

PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED by 6PM of the Monday Prior to the Match
Register by emailing:  Full name including full middle name, address, phone number, date of birth to rifle@ncrr.net

Academi has a secure gate and you must be on the access list to gain entrance.

Start Time:
Setup starts at 7:00 AM.
Match check-in starts at 9:00 AM with first shot at 10:00 AM
End Time:  Expect end of match by 5:00 PM

MATCH FEES:
General Match Fee: $45.00 (includes NRA fee)
NCRR and Academi employees: $40.00
Active Duty Military: $40.00
Juniors (age 18 and under): $25.00
The Oct 26 match will require CMP fee of $10 additional.

Tactical Shotgun Match @ NCRR
Aug 1 @ 7:00 am – 2:00 pm

Tactical Shotgun @ Norfolk County Rifle Range

Multiple stages of mixed targets, about 25 rounds per stage.  Shooters should expect to shoot moving targets, shoot on the move, and shoot prone.

Online registration. Match fee is due at check-in.

When: 8:00am sign in, 8:30am safety brief (attendance required), 9:00am first shooter begins.
