Rimfire Rifle @ NCRR - Indoor Range
May 26 @ 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Welcome to Rimfire at NCRR.  We are starting back up.

The start and end times will be the same as usual, 4pm until 8pm, last sign up at 7:30pm.

The matches will be held using the following procedures for now.
Check in will be on entry and will consist of the following:
1. Checking for Covid Symptoms.
2.  Non-Members will complete the Club Waiver if it hasn’t been done this year.
3.  Non-Members will also be required to complete a Covid Waiver form.
4.  Pay your match fees.  $5 members, $10 non-members

There will be a maximum of 8 people allowed on the range including RSO’s and shooters.

There will be a maximum of 15 people allowed inside the clubhouse at one time.  If there are more than 15 people the extra people will be requested to wait outside in the parking lot or their cars until someone leaves.

No more than 2 people in the dry fire area at one time.

Everyone is requested to observe the Social Distancing Requirements and to wear a mask while waiting in the clubhouse.

Rifle Matches will be shot a little differently.  The new shooting point for the Rifles will be the Red Line in front of the shooting booths.  We will have the small tables used for the Pistol Matches set up to rest the rifles and your supplies on.  This will allow for the RSO and shooter to have more distance between them during shooting.

All scoring and shooting will be done the same as usual.

For more information see:  https://www.ncrr.net/programs/rimfire/

We may have to make minor modifications to these procedures as we proceed, but hopefully everything will go smoothly.  So please come join us and get back to shooting and having some safe fun.

Basic Description: IDPA club match consisting of 4 stages- very basic to quite difficult. Usually a mixture of scenario and standards. Scenario stages are recreations of self-defense events that could or have actually happened. Standards are tests of basic gun handling/tactical skills.  Folks are new to IDPA, or who might be checking out our calendar for the first time, should acquaint themselves with our website’s IDPA Program Information, particularly the New Shooter’s Guide.

Match Fee: $15. NCRR members receive a $5 discount. To re-shoot in the same division: $5. When shooting a second time, you must complete shooting the first time and then sign up. To re-shoot in a different division, the full match fee is applicable.

Start/End Times: Set-up begins at 2:00 pm and the first 4 non-Safety Officers that set up shoot for free. The last 4 people who help with tear-down shoot for free. No appointment needed. To be flexible we’ll usually take walk-ins until 9:00 PM – the matches run as late as 11:00 PM, and could close as early as 8:30 PM. If you are arriving late you should call NCRR first to see if we’re still taking shooters. 757-488-9861
