DESCRIPTION:Basic Description: The Juniors program is a youth shooting education program. The focus is Olympic style competition in air rifle\, small bore rifle and air pistol. \nAttendance: It is open to youth generally 12-19 years old\, but it is really determined by physical and mental maturity. Typically we have a waiting list but you are encouraged to contact us to see if we have openings. In addition\, we attempt to at least allow an interested youth to observe and participate in one night just to allow them the opportunity to see what it is all about (if this interests you\, please contact us first so we can arrange a time). \nEquipment: NCRR provides all equipment necessary to get started. Eventually most youth will obtain their own shooting equipment but still borrow the club’s guns. \nCoaches: NCRR provides NRA certified coaches and Range Safety Officers to work with the youth. \nStart/End Times: There are 2 relays of practice time 5:30-6:30 & 6:30-8:00. \nFor more information\, click here.

DESCRIPTION:BASIC DESCRIPTION\nIDPA club match usually consists of 4 stages- very basic to quite difficult\, with a mixture of scenario and standards.\nScenario: re-creations of self-defense events that could or have actually happened.\nStandards: tests of basic gun handling/tactical skills. \nFolks are new to IDPA\, or who might be checking out our calendar for the first time\, should acquaint themselves with our website’s IDPA Program Information\, particularly the New Shooter’s Guide. \nMATCH FEES\n$10 for members\n$15 for non-members\n$5 to re-shoot in the same division \nPlease pre-register on Practiscore.com for the match (search for NCRR IDPA). Failure to pre-register may result in a $5 surcharge. When shooting a second time\, you must complete shooting the first time and then sign up. To re-shoot in a different division\, the full match fee is applicable. \nBRASS: This is a lost brass match. \nSTART/END TIMES\nSet-up begins at 3:00PM and the match will start when setup is complete. Signup ends at 8:30PM. While sign-up on Practiscore is encouraged\, we still do take walk-ons. If you are there by 8:30PM you will be able to shoot. If you are arriving late\, first call NCRR at (757) 488-9861 to see if we’re still taking shooters. \nAs IDPA is a staffed entirely by volunteers please consider coming out to help with setup. For those shooting later in the night\, please consider staying around to help with cleanup. \nBASIC REQUIREMENTS\nBUG division only: .380 minimum\nAll other divisions except CDP: 9mm minimum \nSemi-Autos: You’ll need at least three magazines – one in the gun and two reloads.\nRevolvers: Barrel has to be 4.2″ or less. Three speedloaders or moon clips may be carried.\nBUG: You’ll need at least 4 magazines: one in the gun and three reloads. \nHolsters: No small of back\, cross-draw\, or shoulder holsters allowed. \nThis is all covered in the IDPA Rulebook – please read it.

DESCRIPTION:BASIC DESCRIPTION\nIDPA club match usually consists of 4 stages- very basic to quite difficult\, with a mixture of scenario and standards.\nScenario: re-creations of self-defense events that could or have actually happened.\nStandards: tests of basic gun handling/tactical skills. \nFolks are new to IDPA\, or who might be checking out our calendar for the first time\, should acquaint themselves with our website’s IDPA Program Information\, particularly the New Shooter’s Guide. \nMATCH FEES\n$10 for members\n$15 for non-members\n$5 to re-shoot in the same division \nPlease pre-register on Practiscore.com for the match (search for NCRR IDPA). Failure to pre-register may result in a $5 surcharge. When shooting a second time\, you must complete shooting the first time and then sign up. To re-shoot in a different division\, the full match fee is applicable. \nBRASS: This is a lost brass match. \nSTART/END TIMES\nSet-up begins at 3:00PM and the match will start when setup is complete. Signup ends at 8:30PM. While sign-up on Practiscore is encouraged\, we still do take walk-ons. If you are there by 8:30PM you will be able to shoot. If you are arriving late\, first call NCRR at (757) 488-9861 to see if we’re still taking shooters. \nAs IDPA is a staffed entirely by volunteers please consider coming out to help with setup. For those shooting later in the night\, please consider staying around to help with cleanup. \nBASIC REQUIREMENTS\nBUG division only: .380 minimum\nAll other divisions except CDP: 9mm minimum \nSemi-Autos: You’ll need at least three magazines – one in the gun and two reloads.\nRevolvers: Barrel has to be 4.2″ or less. Three speedloaders or moon clips may be carried.\nBUG: You’ll need at least 4 magazines: one in the gun and three reloads. \nHolsters: No small of back\, cross-draw\, or shoulder holsters allowed. \nThis is all covered in the IDPA Rulebook – please read it.
