SUMMARY:Juniors
DESCRIPTION:Basic Description: The Juniors program is a youth shooting education program. The focus is Olympic style competition in air rifle\, small bore rifle and air pistol. \nAttendance: It is open to youth generally 12-19 years old\, but it is really determined by physical and mental maturity. Typically we have a waiting list but you are encouraged to contact us to see if we have openings. In addition\, we attempt to at least allow an interested youth to observe and participate in one night just to allow them the opportunity to see what it is all about (if this interests you\, please contact us first so we can arrange a time). \nEquipment: NCRR provides all equipment necessary to get started. Eventually most youth will obtain their own shooting equipment but still borrow the club’s guns. \nCoaches: NCRR provides NRA certified coaches and Range Safety Officers to work with the youth. \nStart/End Times: There are 2 relays of practice time 5:30-6:30 & 6:30-8:00. \nFor more information\, click here.

DESCRIPTION:IDPA Orientation – NCRR Members Only Event \nIn lieu of our normal club match on May 2nd\, IDPA is sponsoring an introduction to IDPA for NCRR members.  The intro will include an overview of IDPA\, its principles\, rules\, and equipment needed to compete in an IDPA match.  You will also be given an opportunity to shoot a couple of IDPA stages to give you an idea of what to expect in a match.  For the purposes of shooting the stages\, you will have the option of starting with the pistol holstered or at the low ready.
