NCRR Ladies League |

Dear All Members:
A new Ladies League is forming at the Norfolk County Rifle Range.
The first meeting will be May 19th from 7:00 – 10:00 p.m. The
dates of the next two meetings will be June 16th and July 21st,
also from 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. We will be shooting from 7:00 to
approximately 8:30 p.m. and conducting our meeting/socializing from
approximately 8:30 to 10:00
p.m.
During these first three meetings we will be deciding what type of
league we would like to have. We can do a Bullseye type league with
variations or, with a good enough attendance, we could possibly do
something with teams. I have heard from several ladies that they would
like to experience an IDPA type scenario to see what it is like. This may
be possible. If
a lady would like to attend, but does not have a handgun to use, we will
have several .22 cal. Rugers available. We will also have instructors
available to go over all safety procedures and basic steps for shooting
with anyone new to the sport. This would be a good time for any ladies who
are not comfortable with handling a gun to learn. There
will be a $ 5.00 dollar fee for everyone attending. This will cover any
targets used and the ammunition for the Rugers. Please
encourage your wives, daughters and lady friends to attend. This will be a
great chance to either learn about shooting or to improve one’s shooting
skills. It is also a chance to meet and socialize with other women
interested in shooting. Thank you for spreading the word about the Ladies
